Julia & Richard's wedding at Chilston Park

Okay, its very late and I have another wedding tomorrow and a christening sunday....so this is a brief one!

Just got back from a fabulous wedding at Chilston Park at Lenham. But had to show you the fabulous dress that Julia wore. A genuine 50 year old vintage dress she had imported from the States. Totally different from anyhting I've seen before - love it!

As always with Chilston Park, a fantastic day - yet again, the weather played ball and tho things ran a little late, a smoothly run and a great atmosphere!

Sally & James Wedding at Hillbark, The Wirral

A tough weekend, but an absolutely brilliant one!

Last year, we shot a wedding for Vicky & Charlie, who were returning from Sydney to the UK for their wedding. It was a great day with a brilliant bunch of guests, at the RAC club in Epsom, and afterwards their friends Sally & James booked us to shoot their day. Like Vicky & Charlie, they are part of the 'Bondi Bunch' and were back in the UK for their wedding last friday. Well, I say 'the UK' - actually I mean the Wirral, 300 miles from home....on a bank holiday....the day before another wedding I had booked in Kent! It was going to be tough, but no way would I have turned down shooting their wedding.

We'd met up for their pre-wed shoot in Sydney back in February when Emma & I were on honeymoon there, and met loads of their friends - so there were lots of familiar faces and it was great to see everybody again.

Just like Dublin, once again I provided brilliant weather (which appears to be guaranteed this year with every Level Eleven photography package!) and the venue was gorgeous. Its such a buzz to shoot weddings for friends and we had a great day - we were just gutted we had to leave early to get back to Kent.

Gill & Neil's wedding in Manor Kilbride, Ireland.

Finally found a few minutes to get some of the images from Gill & Neil's wedding onto the sorely neglected blog! It was really hard to pull these few out, there's so many others I can't wait to get on with developing - but despite the 6 week old baby trying to stop any work happening....we're well on top of it, and the rest will be ready soon!

The couple had a church wedding in Manor Kilbride, Co. Wicklow, followed by a fabulous reception at Barberstown Castle, Straffen - a simply fantastic day I was really moved to be asked to shoot. Catch the story below of why Neil & Gill asked me to shoot their wedding.....

Laura & Lee at Chilston Park

I am doing SO well on good weather this year - with very few exceptions, my weddings have been dry - and we just made it yesterday at Laura & Lee's Chilston Park wedding - it stayed dry all day and a few drops appeared just as they went in for their first dance.

But that meant Pimms was served on the lawn (as it simply should be dear boy) and we had plenty of time to wander round the beautiful grounds for some pictures.

Laura's Amanda Wyatt dress was absolutely stunning and the day was relaxed and informal - the party was in full swing when I left at 10pm!
